Wykładowca, profesor języka angielskiego, były dziekan w Kolegium Humanistyczno-Naukowym Uniwersytetu Stanowego w Salem, Massachusettes, doktor habilitowany w Polskiej Akademii, drugie miejsce zatrudnienia oraz pierwsze miejsce zatrudnienia w Polsce - w Wyższej Szkole Ekonomiczno-Humanistycznej w Bielsku-Białej. Były profesor języka angielskiego oraz dyrektor w The Honors College, Oakland University, Michigan.
Zainteresowania dydaktyczne to wiktoriańska literatura i kultura, anglojęzyczna literatura karaibska.
