Lyudmila Deineko


Expert in economics including management of the national economy, environmental economics, productive forces studies and regional economics. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in “Political Economics” (1987). Doctor of Sciences of Economics in specialty “Productive forces studies and regional economics” (2000), professor at the faculty of Economic Theory (2002).

Head of scientific department of Development of food sector and consumer market of the Council of Productive Forces Studies at the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences (2003-2011). From 2011 the head of the department of Industrial Policy at the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of NAS of Ukraine.

The member of the Advisory Board (since 2011) and vice-chairman of the Expert Council on dissertation expertise (Sectoral and enterprise development) under the Ministry of Education, Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine (since 2016).

Author of more than 300 scientific papers, most of which are devoted to research of the food industry development on national and regional levels including rising of its competitiveness, environmental aspects of production, modernization and the strategy of the industrial complex development and industrial policy of Ukraine.

She supervised ten PhD dissertations in specialties of economics and management of national economy and environmental economics and nature management and one Dr. of Sci. entitled “Productive forces studies and regional economics”.
