Milena Filipova

Associate Professor Milena Filipova has been working at the Economic Faculty of “N. Rilski” Southwest University of Blagoevgrad since year 1996 as an assistant professor. In year 2007 after the successful defense of her dissertation project she was awarded the academic and scientific degree of a Doctor in the specialty of Economics and Management. Since year 2010 she has been a co-ordinator of the Erasmus Programme for the Economic Faculty. In year 2011 the academic title of an associate professor in the scientific specialty of Economics and Management was conferred on her at the Economic Faculty of “N. Rilski” Southwest University. In September 2016 she was elected Head of the Management and Marketing Department of the said faculty. Within the period 2007 – 2016 she took part in 20 research projects, among which there were 4 international and 1 national. She conducted the following specializations: 2005 - in “Management of Competitiveness” at the Department of Business Administration, University of Economic and Social Science, Thessaloniki, Greece; 2011 - in “Project Management Skills” in Academia Istropolitana NOVA, Bratislava, Slovakia; 2013 - in “Tourism Management” at the Faculty of Economics, Ecological University of Bucharest, Romania; 2015 - in “Management of the Company” at tge Department of Business Administration, Technological Educational Institute of Central Macedonia, Greece.
